Hi all. So, I found this group after my 261 blew up. I ended up in this forum and next thing you know I’m buying saws, fancy Japanese bars and talking to modders about ports. Needless to say, here’s the damage after about a month. The bars and chains are courtesy of Mike (MG2186) and the Jonsered Husky beast is from Tim (359). I was warned, but here we are and I’m loving it. I’ve also learned how to trouble shoot a no spark issue, repair a pull cord and diagnose and fix a saw without a chain brake (thanks less than honest FB marketplace seller). That said, I’m having fun and hoping to do something more intense like a rebuild down the road. Next up is a port of either my 260 (not pictured, but also added last month or the 26) and then possibly something bigger down the road because why not? Guess I should’ve known this was going to become a mess of a hobby for me.

Welcome! That looks like a trusty fleet there. I have one of those Tsumura bars and it's been fantastic.
I am looking forward to see how they cut this weekend (assuming the weather permits). They're pretty slick bars, but I see no reason to not put them to use.

Let's be honest, it's not a hobby for any of us....it's an obsession!! Some people say "more cowbell" others say "more chainsaws"!!
Yeah, my wife is used to me diving head first into new hobbies. At least this one can be used for something productive.
