Cs590 is it any good. I see ALOT of negative reviews. Just on home Depot 88 1 star for the 20 inch
Yeah, they are a fine saw. I would take one of them any day over an MS271 or a 455 rancher.Cs590 is it any good. I see ALOT of negative reviews. Just on home Depot 88 1 star for the 20 inch
They are not tuned properly out of the box, a real dealership will set it up and tune it for free if you purchase from them. Also, Echo sets the price so the dealer should be the same price if not cheaper than Home Depot.
I sell Red Armor for less than HALF of what H.D. does.
Sir Yes Sir, try to keep a pretty good selection. @redlight066 will attest, he was down yesterday picking up some parts. You're an Echo dealer? Cool. And how about non-Echo branded Oregon chains and such?
That’s awesome. Not sure I’ve ever seen an actually echo dealer. Would be like spotting big foot around my area.Sir Yes Sir, try to keep a pretty good selection. @redlight066 will attest, he was down yesterday picking up some parts.View attachment 442940
Really?! I guess I'm a bit surprised- being from NJ, I always figured Echo dealers are common. Perhaps you'll see one or two in the near future with Husky dealers reportedly dwindling. That’s awesome. Not sure I’ve ever seen an actually echo dealer. Would be like spotting big foot around my area.

Easier than a husky 372??The 590/600/620 platform saw is flat out one of the easiest chainsaws ever to work on. Period. Taking the carburetor off is a 10 second job.
Id rather go new. That way I know some guy didn't use olive oil for the bar and super thick Maxwell House for mix. When I buy a saw the very first time I fire it up I usually have a tuning screw driver in my pocket. If there is a limiter that gets delt with almost instantly.Have no fear, the 590 is probably the best value ever in chainsaws. A few little bits that are plastic rather than metal are the only thing that separate it from "pro" saws. Yes, be sure to tune the carb properly if you get one, it will most likely be lean from the factory to pass smog. Be sure to check Fleabay, alot of people buy these to cut up one big tree and then sell them. Also, you'll find good deals on overstocks. McHenry Power is one seller there that I have dealt with and they have great deals on anything Echo new or used.
It Doesn't surprise me about their longevity. Since the little pick up truck phase of the late late 70s up through the 80s the Japanese have produced insanely reliable engines/vehicles. #1 enemy of internal combustion engines is heat. Open the hood of a Toyota next to a American or English make. ALOT more coolant hoses.I just sold this Echo CS-346 to a lady who thought that a lighter saw would be nice to have:

It starts easily and runs perfectly after 15 years of use. It was owned by a guy who instead wanted to buy a top handle with only a 14" bar for tree climbing work. She loves the saw and thought my price of $160 delivered was very reasonable. That's a 16" bar. These saws tend to last and last.
By a mile.Easier than a husky 372??
