Anybody know how to richen up the idle on these srm 410's?

There is a little plastic plug in the middle of the carburetor rotor, right on top of the carburetor. Use a pick or Echo's special tool to remove it and that exposes a little flat screw, which is attached to the rotor needle. That's you idle mix adjustment.Anybody know how to richen up the idle on these srm 410's?

Thanks again for the info, greatly appreciated. I never would've found that darn low speed adjustment had u not told me. Wow that little plastic plug and adjustment screw are tiny! I ended up removing the round slide +needle assembly and carefully drilled out the plastic plug. There is a little plastic plug in the middle of the carburetor rotor, right on top of the carburetor. Hopefully that doesn't make it too tight. Usually there is a small spring under those needles to hold them in place even if the limiter cap is gone. Beside the needle is the old style cap to keep dirt out. You could pull them off with your fingernail, but they ended up with too many dead mosquitoes in CA.I put a dab of blue loctite down in the threads.
Thanks alot! Good to know. I just kinda figured after having drilled out that darn plug, a tiny drop of loctite on the threads should keep the screw from backing out. She's nice n rich down low. Scary how lean it was on the low jet.Hopefully that doesn't make it too tight. Usually there is a small spring under those needles to hold them in place even if the limiter cap is gone.
