Hi, new member. My Echo CS 310 starts fine, idles fine, but when I hit the throttle it “bogs down” and dies if I don’t let off the throttle.
Any ideas?

Welcome!
I would first try to adjust the carburetor. It sounds like the H carb needle needs turned out about 1/2 turn. Unless it’s one of the first 310’s (2008 or so) it shouldn’t need any carb work unless it has had poor fuel run through it.
The carburetor needle slot is on the left side of the chainsaw above the fuel cap. The L and H needles are beside each other. The Lis for idle mix, and the H is for high speed fuel mix. They probably have a red limiter cap on them that keeps you from being able to turn them counterclockwise. Use a pic or small screw to remove the limiter cap or take it to your dealer and let them use their tool.
