Hey, I'm having an issue with a lean mid range that can't be tuned out. It has been there since popping the limiter caps and doing a port match and muffler flow mod (matching the exhaust port outlet and muffler inlet, as well as rounding over an sharp edges and angles within the exhaust port). And has gotten worse since doing some slight exhaust port work (a touch of widening and lowering) combined with adding a 1/4" hole to the bottom of the deflector.
I can get the bottom and top tuned real nice, while the mid is extremely lean, causing the chain to spin with power for a moment when the throttle is released. I've seen other videos on yt where they have a similar issue after deleting limiter caps and MM.
Lets assume for the sake of discussion there are no leaks due to reassembly as the saw was never disassembled.
Does anyone know what carb I could swap the stoc carb out with to flow more fuel so I can get it tuned right?
Stay safe everyone, and thank you for your time.
