Out of all my saw 20-30So I ruined a friend after letting him run a sausage stuffed jred and a minded husky. The modded ms390 I hooked him up with isn't enough anymore. Problem is he has some pretty fubared shoulders/rotators. Any suggestions on a saw thats forgiving to start?
I was going to build him a 372oe with a drilled out decomp. Probably just do a cut 268 dome piston and not much for bumping compression beyond that. Really want to lessen the chance of it snapping the rope back.
What are the expert's thoughts? He isn't going to buy firewood so I'm outta ideas beyond that and the above build.

The 3 372s with the 268 popup pistons
Are the easiest to start
It must be the lighter mass of the pistons
Comp is around 180-185
Very easy to start.
But the strongest 372s I have have are regular pistons in a ported saw.
