Duke’s pro bars?

Has anyone tried these? Woodyard I do saw maintenance for is in need of a bunch of replacement bars and their’s are on sale now.

Ordered the “regular” bar and chain combo but have not gotten it in yet. Those Pro bars look great and the price looks great too!

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, I say it's just paint and paint that's bound to wear off quick to boot. If the bar's Oregon level quality and I cared enough I'd sand off the paint as opposed to paying double for a different paint job. I do appreciate aesthetics, but at the end of the day it's a bar of steel guiding a chain in the middle of a log. Ugly paint or no paint I guarantee the log, the chain, and the saw don't give a crap either way.

Not true. The checkered flag pattern on my 201T’s speedcut nano bar make it extra fast. I can vouch for this

Plus the bright coloring might make it easier to find the saw when it gets covered by brush/leaves!

My MS-250 came with the Light 04 bar from the factory. It is a nice bar, but strangely Stihl doesn't make it in 16" for the 250. Ida know, seems to me like if a regular 18" bar is "heavy" on the 250 they shoulda just put a 16" on it in the first place. I put a cheapo Laser 16"/.063 bar and semi-chisel chain on the saw and it does just fine.

That bar isn't so ugly that I would turn it down, but I agree with you that aesthetics matter. There are alot of things in saws, guns, tools, tractors, and automobiles that I won't have just 'cause they're friggin UGLY. Doesn't matter how good of a product it is, if its ugly I ain't spending my money on it!

The 04 is lighter, yet the 06 creates more light!

I like the orange bars personally, all bars get ugly after some use.
