28“ Stihl Mount Tsumura on a 7910 using Stihl count chain. That‘s what I had and use. Don‘t remember if Stihl is less or longer than Husqvarna. 9775C3CF-D09B-4358-9800-FA399E03170A.jpeg

Edit: Husqvarna is longer. That‘s C83 on there and I had to take drive links out to Stihl‘s 91? I believe. The tensioner did not have enough travel IIRC.

Seems like w Stihl count the oiler hole is too far back. I can get it on there an all just doesn't oil

No issues oiling here, in fact it runs out of chain oil before motor fuel. I have to top off fuel at 3/4 tank full to be safe.

Oil slots are in the same spot, but the hole feeding into the bar might be bigger or smaller. If you do open it up some try doing it on an angle forward as opposed to drilling straight in. That way chips don’t catch on the square edges and plug it up.

The adjuster needs opened up on some of them and sometimes the Stihl slot needs lengthened in order to get the bar to slide back far enough. It’s different on every bar and length of chain though. What happens on the 24 inch may not happen on the 20 inch or 32 inch. They are all their own animal

And while I’m thinking about it, might help someone down the road as I know it’s been mentioned here and I went through the same thing.

The 32 lightweight Tsumura … 105? DL I believe. It actually fits 104DL better on both Husky and Stihl saws. With the standard 105DL chain you can barely remove all the slack on a new chain without going to an 8 tooth rim. So try the 104 instead or just remove a drive link
