Does it have a longer skirt than a 266 piston? Because that's where you get your porting with the longer fuelling duration. You didn't cut the collar on the cylinder I see, that's good. Did you deck the cylinder slightly or no? So same height as a 266 piston and you are running 40 thou/ 30mm dome then?

It's a stock cylinder. I don't know how it compares to a 266 piston, the skirt could be a little shorter. I got .059 for the dome. I'm sure I could make it work if I spent some time on it but the main reason I got it was to see if it would do what they say out of the box. I think my time would be better spent working with an OEM or Meteor piston. If it didn't have that exhaust cutout I'd keep trying.

I see now, so it was bought as a true dome.
You need a measurement from the pin to the bottom of the skirt against a window xp or a looper style Jonsered. IF the skirts longer for some reason then don't expect to be in the same ball pakt as those pistons with that set up.
Other than that then those rings will need a lot more time
