Gotcha. Cheater. Lol. He's doing a couple of saws for me too. I'm trying to put together some manual squish cutting tools. Hard to find someone with a lathe around my part of the world.
I ain’t too proud to send a jug off for machine work either.
I ain’t buying no damn lathe..
I hate working on saws...

Very strange
There are a few 7900’s floating around with even more.
Still waiting on someone to use a 665 solo jug on a 6400 and make something that can legally run in the 4 cube class..
then I could finally retire this tired old 365.

Case capacity have something to do with it?
Capacity x degrees of case compression x comp x ex height x pixie dust x other various magic = whatever
Some of these come up with for power.

Have I mentioned I hate working on saws?

Case compression can make or break a saw. I am a firm believer of how the direction of scavenging loop effects more than velocity.

Case in point, I have added a fairly thick spacer to run a certain piston in a 7900. One would think it would have blown case volume way out. BD in the range of 26-29.

Made for a solid, wide band 5 cube.

Does the newer 7910 slab side piston have more case compression than the windowed 7900 piston?
