Notice the worn nub on the screw? That’s why this saw wasn’t oiling good anymore. There is a oring on the screw and spring. Put that oring and spring on the new screw. Align the screw properly in the pump, push on it and get the pin started in there. Make sure the screw is seated in properly before you drive in the pin. Reassemble the pump and prime it with oil by filling it and turning the drive wheel.

No oiler mod needed with a 64cc. They will oil a 32” .063 bar ok with the 64cc cylinder. The 7900 is sort of stingy (not near as bad as 1128 series stihls though) with a long bar with the same pump because it has more chainspeed/more rpm in the cut = more friction. It also burns more fuel so the gas to oil usage is not 1/1 like the 64cc. Pump needed a rebuild because the plastic “nub” was worn out on the adjuster. Rebuild kit is cheap.Cool. You didn't file or grind down the pump pin to make it oil a bit more? Do the pump mod instead of pump rebuild?
How much are those kits?

White is the higher flow option. Both come with the rebuild kitAny difference between the black and white adjuster? I can’t see a difference.
Copy. When I first looked at them, I didn’t see any real difference. I’ll have to look a little closer.Angular nipples are weird.
Just sayin'

At the angled nipples?Copy. When I first looked at them, I didn’t see any real difference. I’ll have to look a little closer.
I can see the difference now that I put them side by side.I noticed the white had more offset on the nub (hard to see) and probably equals higher flow like Kevin said.

It should last you a long time, this one was a higher hour 7300 chassis that was scored then a 64cc cylinder fitted.I can see the difference now that I put them side by side.
I have a rebuild kit, but hopefully it doesn’t have to be rebuilt for awhile anyways.

The flesh colored safety chaps were cool, they a special order?Runs good enough for me.

I don’t recommend doing what I do lol. I always wear some sort of ppe logging. Always wear steel/composite toe boots too. Not usually cutting cookies, I should. I just relaxed my standards. The flesh colored safety chaps were cool, they a special order?
