Picked up a nice little 5105, piston is scored to badly to use, cylinder will clean up nicely, wondering if anyone knows of another brand piston that will fit without machining it? Meteor doesn't list 1, and Dolmar wants as much almost for a kit as a cylinder. Thanks for any help

No I didn't but I was hoping for a little cheaper option but that might be the best option, thank you.

Dolmar Germany is listing following prices:
- OEM PS-5105 piston kit 68€
- OEM PS-5105 P&C kit 200€

That's a whole lotta difference in price.

Took a quick look at eBay and found one listing for an AM piston kit:
http://www.ebay.de/itm/Kolben-passend-zu-Motorsage-Dolmar-PS-500-PS-5000-PS-5105-PS-5005-mit-45mm-/121489903572?hash=item1c495ccfd4:g:DBgAAMXQVT9S94RB&_trkparms=pageci%3A7efb2979-a6da-11e7-8d61-74dbd1801086%7Cparentrq%3Ad94db52715e0a99b9c7179c0ffff2c78%7Ciid%3A1

The price tag of 28€ isn't that bad, but not all too tempting either.
At 30€ the shipping is a killer thought, so You'd be better off with OEM!

The only AM u know of is a VEC, but good luck finding one. Skirts are a little narrower in them but ok for stock.
Fordf150 would be your best bet. Great dealer!!

off the top of my head here are the prices.

piston $81
510 cylinder kit $125
5105 cylinder kit $185

I cant think of any AM pistons right now but I am pretty sure there is one out there, I'm just drawing a blank right now
