That gets me pretty excited. ..

Please tell me the top ring has a centered pin???

Looks as if the ports are plenty wide, just like a center pin for further experimentation.

Again, thank you for the pics.

Sense a 15+ page crap thread brewing...
1,3900 2, 4500 2 more 4600 2, 5000 1 510 +another 590...

Tach reading from the vid.

Try and get a stock cutting clip up tomorrow.

Saw feels about like expected, no quit even pulled way down, just keep chugging along... has pretty good zip for an older saw. Carb tune would help that a bit.

1 major advantage I can see is a factory hda series carb...

But a pea shooter exhaust port again...

We will see.

Any updates?

4500 usually has 325 on it but I thought I would try a 3/8LP 20" I had. Running 3/8 7T rim.

Just to show it does ok stock 45cc. Comparing to stock to 67cc 61cc full 3/8 in same wood. 6700 had a 8000 carb and muffler mod. 6700 is one those saws that the cylinder needs help IMO.

Baseball bat hard dry ash 12.5"

LOL if you watch video close you can see that new chain loosen up and see a gap while in cut.

I didnt show you that pic on purpose. Little bitty O exit. ;)

This one someone screwed trying inserts. Needs to have Scarr weld filler holes and retap.
Had took a spill off a truck and busted the muffler bolts off in cylinder.

Nothing yet, looks like I am either heading out for work, or building an apartment/room next week.

As you mentioned before this 4600 seems plenty enough for a stock 45cc. Havent found an echo yet, that dosent respond well to some modification.

Think I will run this with an 18" 3/8 lp combo. Have the bar/chain already. Might try an track down a 16".

I was pretty happy with the 6700 after i went back in. Don't think it had much left to gain.

Either way not very often is a carb bore larger than the exhaust flange :D

Was working on some saws and remembered to check. Dime covers both on the 4000 cylinder.
