I once serviced a saw that had its sprocket cut completely in half. Imagine what that saw (and the one shown here) sounded like during the last tank of fuel. Gasp!

That’s one of those high performance weight reduced centrifugal sprockets ( AKA Skunk Works )

I had one this winter that was completely cut in half, some people just cut till the chain quits turning. Avg guy knows how to change the bar and chain but a lot of them never even look at the sprocket.
