Even NGK are losing some of their there quality, not like the old stuff, I’ve been going to Denso more often lately, I like them ,Yup someone in the QC department was on break, low quality control ? I use only denso and ngk.... made in japan.
Bosch are good if you get the German made , but China stuff not so good ,I use Bosch as I guy I know travelled selling them and when finnished up wiyh
them he still had a heap of wtock left so brought a heap of him. But as far as champion
go they have the 5 letter word on them
You could use it to check spark output on coils.Brand new, right out of the box. Seems to me like the gap on the top one is a little wide.
Yes most certainly do.Do the Chi-Coms make Champions now?
They are made in serveral countries nowDo the Chi-Coms make Champions now?
Idk, the box said USA.Do the Chi-Coms make Champions now?
Tree monkey made a video talking about NGK counterfeits and such going around, I’ve been using Denso over NGK because of quality over the past few years and have been liking them a good bit ,I know it seems fashionable to hate on NGK, but we have been using them at our shop for many years without trouble; we get them through our regular verified suppliers. I have seen no change through the recent brand transition. However, one of our techs had a couple of NGK's break in a dirt bike (I suppose he got the cheapest deal online). I wonder how many failed NGK plugs are fake.

Years ago, when I was doing alot of riding/racing with my KX250, NGK were the plugs that gave me the least problems. Champion cost more than Bosch and NGK and had the most problems with.I know it seems fashionable to hate on NGK, but we have been using them at our shop for many years without trouble; we get them through our regular verified suppliers. Denso plugs are top notch, we just can't get them at wholesale prices.I’ve been using Denso over NGK because of quality over the past few years and have been liking them a good bit
Looking at a couple of sites, they show that the Denso match for a BPMR8Y will be the W24MPR-U.Hopefully this won't derail this thread too far, but I've been unable to find a reference for a Denso plug that's a direct match for the BPMR8Y plugs that Echo uses, even on Denso's cross-reference page. Does anyone know of a suitable match?
I use BPM8Y on almost all Echo's. The R's are specified as Canadian, I suppose because of radio interference laws, but some of the trimmers don't run as well on resistors as non-resistors.BPMR8Y plugs that Echo uses
