Got the deflector on last night and opened inlet.

Rut-Ro, there’s a few fins missing on the flywheel. I should have an jap 026 flywheel (better design) somewhere.

The WT55 is getting tossed for the larger 194.

Found a race flywheel I did, along with another 024S one. Race 026 has fins lathed off and back tapered, it won’t do.

Smoothed piston casting flash, why not.

Saw should run today.

Honest mistake's sometimes happen. I wouldnt expect a saw to be fully pulled apart before a sale. This was a running saw with a normal piston.

Inspecting a piston, as far as I'm concerned, is the only mandatory check a seller should do in a good running saw.

This is a way too agressive 28" low raker square file. My cutting sucked.

Wow! Looks and cuts a little different than when it was stock. Very nice. That little saw has some grunt.

Were any belt sanders harmed in the modification of this saw?

Looks great. That saw is punching way outside of its weight class.

This saw is extremely clean and runs really well!
I threw a 24” bar on it cuz that’s all I had with a good chain at the moment. Amazing how well it pulls it.

More appropriate wood for this saw
