I picked up a really nice 028 Super today. One owner and even the original chain. $200. Why? Because CAD, dag nabbit! It wasn't a smoking deal, but it was a fair price for a minty saw. Has 160# compression. I'll check out squish for a gasket delete. Are these older mufflers in need of a mod? How about a touch of timing advance? Thanks, dammit!

Lovely saws, last one I did benefited greatly from a muffler mod and a gasket delete, think it left me at about .024 from memory. Ballsy little buggers, I love them. So you suck X3

This model loves a timing advance and a muffler mod. Everyone I have come across is able to delete the base gasket. They are not a screamer but they will pull very well.
