Could someone tell me what the Acceptable Cylinder Tolerance Measurement is on a Husky 65L Model Saw Between Cylinder & Piston as well as Ring Gap measurement. I realize that there are Different Measurement between Cylinder & Piston at Cylinder Skirt & Top of Cylinder where Spark Plug Hole is but Dont Know what the Measurement's are to Determine if a New Cylinder & Piston Assembly is Required or if the OEM one which I Currently have can be Salvaged

.004, feeler gauge at the base, is usually new piston time. If the cyl is clean, no transfer or gouging, just reuse. If the piston is worn out, so is the ring. Those are cheap so just replace…comes on a new piston anyway.
What is your compression?

^^^This.

Pistons are tapered. Measure at the skirt. The top/crown will ~0.004" smaller at the top.

Measure ring gap at bottom of cylinder. You want ~ 0.003-0.006" gap X Dia of cylinder in inches.

Thank you Very Much. Don't Know Compression at this Point as Saw was in Pcs when i Got it but as soon as I Check the Gaps/Tolerances & Assemble i will Certainly Check Compression. Any Ideas what a 1991 Husky 55 Should be in Terms of Compression?
