367C139E-4C33-4EC6-B639-83830ABE04A2.jpeg Engaging the PTO this afternoon, the drive belt broke. It’s 13 years old so I’m not surprised.
Got one from the local cc dealer and found I need to remove the clutch to thread it through and get it on the pulley.
A little YouTube and it seemed pretty simple. One 5/8 bolt and the thing just drops down.
When I do it, it’s engaged to the motor. I turn it for ever and it keeps turning and I can feel the motor lope over. The bolt never backs out.
I think I need a new clutch. It hardly turns when I engage the PTO.
Do get the bolt out, I’m not sure how to do that.
I’m thinking a piston stop.
There’s no way im drilling it out.
Appreciate any help
Sorry for the sun glare.

Impact wrench or
Remove shroud and use screwdriver to wedge between flywheel and block. Or
Rope in spark plug hole to act as piston stop.
