Cleaning up!
Just getting started! Lol
Just getting started! Lol
In my opinion the difference is big enough to warrant it. After all, this is just a hobby and for fun. Having the chance to use the grinder versus standing over my vice for hours is also a great bonus. Having it ground with the machine will also make it easier for me to touch up, as the chains already have, more or less, the proper angles.Did you really notice a big difference in the chains Sondre?
Get yourself a double bevel file so you can touch em up when they get dull. Just try to follow the angle that the grinder is at
Cool. Keep us informed with your long term results please. For now, I personally will stick to round filing. But keep my options open for better possibilities in the future. In my opinion the difference is big enough to warrant it. After all, this is just a hobby and for fun. It's also a matter of enjoyment for me. Knowing that I have what I perceive as the best filed chains, makes me enjoy sawin' even more.
Wind just kicked up. Cover all went for a ride! Lol
Your property is strewn with canopy poles... LOL.
Bummer -- that was a nice canopy!
You suck! That tuna was best food there IMHO.
BTW: my kids devoured half of that bread ring. Best toast for the morning. I told Al via text.
Gotta let them dry out. Burn your dry wood first. They should dry out fairly quickly being that thin.
Stove in the shop doesn't like cookies but that's all I have.
I've tried but they stack with no airflow and stay wet. My boiler don't care, it burns at 1200 deg. Boils it out quick on the small slices.
