I had a 4000 once that was really nice but there is no comparison. If you are ever on the Big Island I would let you see for yourself.
OK, looks like that beast is somewhere between a Stihl 460 and a 660 -- 85+ cc. Amazing how many good saws have been discontinued.

I had a stock 660 before and, again, I really liked it. I not so sure it it could pull as hard as a 5200, but what do I know.
There is one Stihl that probably could, without going overboard into the 120+ cc overweight monsters. The Stihl 064 never ceases to amaze me, but it disappeared long ago, like many other of the best saws that Stihl ever made.

I would like to try an 064 some day. I always seem to trade or sell my Stihls because they move and are wanted.

This Stihl 064 that I now own really surprised me. Very few loggers ever bought them in this neck of the woods. Back then, they opted for the 084, 088, or MS 880, and many were dissatisfied with the big, heavy, overweight monsters. They replaced them with the 066 or MS 660, somehow forgetting or bypassing the 064.

Last spring I let a logger start my 064 who now uses MS 661's for his business. After he started it, he said, "Edwin, do not ever sell this Stihl 064. This saw is a brute."

I'd love to run this 064 one-on-one with the Ceraftsman 5.2 shown here. But, OP would likely have to help me start it. No decomp available.

Ah, the good old muscle Poulans...

Someday... I will have one.

The best Poulan I have now is a 305, branded Craftsman. Mint. Needs fuel line, impulse line (if equipped with one) or intake boot or all of the above.

That would be interesting. Too bad we're so far apart.
