I’ve always heard the spark should be blue. However, I have over 70 running saws and I have NEVER seen a blue spark when testing with my inline spark tester.
Currently I’m trying to get a homie 330 running. Pre-tear down I had no spark. While torn down I retested and have reddish orange spark. I’d just as soon not have to tear this saw down again so I’d like to know is this adequate color
I know the color is reflective of the temperature but not sure how to judge. Also, can the spark voltage be tested with a volt meter?
Alas, so many questions, eh?
