Cleaning Cylinders

I switch between Mean green and AWESOME depending on availability.
The mean green is the better of the 2.
I often fill a 5 gallon bucket with it and soak covers an fuel tanks in it for days. It will fade or destroy paint on some saws.

How about plastic?

How about plastic?

No problems with the plastics on saws. If your gonna throw everything in the bucket you can always add 2 gallons of water and 2or3 of Mean Green.

I used Cascade platinum pods, and it gives the dark oxide look like how some FT cylinders come.

The totally awesome cleaner seems to make cylinders possibly lighter and brighter than new. I just skim off the oil after letting it settle for a while, then reuse the stuff. No sense in throwing out a gallon at a time. I will dilute it slightly with water too.

Don’t leave plastic in any cleaner long, it will fade.
