My 362 looks like a race saw ... when I'm cutting Silver Maple!!!! The Oak lets you know it is just a 60cc saw!

My 10 mm 044 embarrassed a 066 (both with 24" bars) in White Pine, both with muff mods and unported. However, ported 660s are animals!

The owner of the 066 thought he was bringing the animal saw, but he was not running square file chain.

Ok I'll cut some oak
Red Oak is twice as hard as pine. Hickory around 3x and live oak over 4x as hard as pine. Red oak cuts easy compared to live oak. You'll burn some fuel noodling live oak.

I've cut all of those woods too, Ash cuts harder than Oak from experience. Hickory does cut hard, definitely don't want the rakers set low like on some other wood, chain really chatters

Ash and sycamore is the fastest wood I've cut.

Yes it does cut fast! That's all I've cut the last couple years with that ash bore in these parts. I like the smell of it after cutting it to! What kind of wood is that you're cutting in your 660 vids?

Soft wood can load the saw granted the chain will let it.

But basswood is so soft and almost punky even after its first cut down. Bet I could run a 9 pin 404 in it easy
