I'm gonna run it in a minute with a standard crank just to see the difference.

It runs good but feels bound still.

Did we gain velocity but loose to much volume? Do we not need the velocity?

My favorite numbers too.
That's what my 066 is and it's strong but this saw will clobber it.
Maybe I should mail you my 661 to try. I'd like to see where she lands in the pecking order

What are the stock timing numbers again ?

I wonder why this set up with the 288 piston is so much better then a full ported 66? I am wondering if it has to do with rod angle?

The thing is that it's still stock so any piston right now would be fine,we use a 288 piston so we can go wider on the ports but nothing has been ground on yet.

The 288 piston is helping with the decent timing numbers I've got.

It's just a stock saw with extra compression right now.
