Pittsburgh shop had a holiday sale today. One box of Perdomo 10th Anniversary Maduros and a box of AJ Fernandez New World Maduros. For the price of one box. Plus a free AJ ashtray. View attachment 400837

Is it weird I want to see the ashtray? Not sure, but can I get a picture of the ashtray? 😁

Just took it out of the box. I think it's pretty cool. Saw some Fuente ashtrays at another local shop. But they were pretty spendyView attachment 400885
I like it. 👍🏻 I have a black Montecristo branded one, that's real similar.

Of course any ashtray would work (or small bowl, like I started with), but there's something about having a little fancier ashtray for cigars.

Been seeing a bunch of wooden cigar ashtrays on YouTube. I have a chunk of Black Walnut that I'm going to carve up into one
Had a guy send me this he made image.jpgthe cigar is from @JimBear. Thanks buddy. I still have quite a few from that bag. Hoarding those bolivars for a bit but looking for an occasion to smoke one!

I still can‘t hardly stomach a cigar or stand the smell of a lit cigar. Tried one yesterday & tossed it after about 1/3. It was my first one since about Thanksgiving.

I love the smell of my coolers & humidors but put a flame to a stogie…

That's not good at all. I hope whatever is going on, clears up.

That sucks to hear bud, as I well know. Hope this issue resolves soon for you.

Just had a sinus infection, stuff just hasn’t been right since. I reckon there will be some bargain priced cigars available if things don’t change.

I have a few of those & thought think they are good cigars. If things don‘t change they will be needing a new home.
Your taste will come back. Mine was fugged up for a long while. I thought the same. It’s one of these several sicknesses that’s been going around.

I hope so. Its not just the taste, its the turning of my stomach & overall repulsiveness of the smell. I tried a Camacho Nicaraguan barrel aged a while ago, no bueno. I made it about 1/2 way thru.

I’ll echo what Custer said don’t sell off your cigars man. It’ll come back. Have you tried smoking a pipe? I’ve been enjoying mine even though I can’t seem to get back into cigars. I’m enjoying a bowl of Cringle Flake 2023 right now.

Here’s my xmas present to myself. I’ve always wanted a nice Peterson system pipe. It was a bit of a splurge at this time of year but it was on sale at least.

The cringle flake is outstanding. Naturally sweet, spicy, and smoky. Ready to smoke right out of the tin. I highly recommend.IMG_3691.jpegIMG_3692.jpeg
