I had this one last night, it had good flavor but the burn was really uneven & required numerous touch ups.

Had this today, it had good flavor but it got all hot & squishy in the middle & twice got a crunchy cap on the foot & I had to trim it off & relight.

Did the crunchy cap snuff it out, or did it get a crunchy cap because it went out? I don't know that I've ever seen that, or heard of that actually.

Yes, it snuffs it out. I have had it happen from time to time but usually you can smoke thru it. I have seen it happen a couple times on CO reviews also.

I'll have to pay attention if one starts smoking tough. Didn't know that was a thing.

I watched a CO review last night & Bryan said he had a couple of blenders tell him it was from improper fermentation of the leaves. I don’t know that is the reason, it just what he said he was told.

Having another Cohiba Nicaragua today & it is burning much better. They have been in the Clevelander for about a year so I don’t believe it is a storage problem.

Grabbed this perdomo seventy inmenso. Like a nub but bigger ring guage. Not a bad smoke. But the diameter i8 big for my liking.

I see that they make those in a 6-1/2” x 50, I am going to try & acquire some of those to compare for flavor. I have no idea if they are similar.
