Choker Chain & light skidding hickory for firewood?

I don't think the Amsteel Blue would fare too well being drug over stumps, hills, and through the dirt. I know its made for winching, but it's different than hooking a strap around a tree and pulling yourself out

15-20' 1/2" choker here was only $25 last time I bought one. Has a bell, thimble, and a looped end. Very safe way to grab pipe, logs, etc.
