Cherry desk I built.

I made this desk for the wife a few months ago from a cherry log I milled.

I used 1"x2" steel for the legs the basket also pulls out.

I also built the kides a homework/art desk.

Nice work ,i made the wife a dining room table similar to that ,but wood legs .and a little thicker top .but from fir and pine .

I'm very impressed. Very close to milling so I can do just what you did, build with my own wood.

How wide of a plank can you plane ? I would love to have the room to have tables set up like that ,makes a nicer product when building stuff .

When I was a kid my Dad built the kitchen table out of a 3'0x6'8 oak door blank. I've often thought of replicating it. I just need a bigger kitchen!
