Check out this 78 year old timber getter on his stihl lightning

Great old logger,Kevin,who sold me one of his Lightnings,also gave me this photo of him cutting firewood a couple of months ago.
The younger bloke on the big Husky was twice his size,half his age,yet look how relaxed Kevin is
I know,no safety gear,very casual hand positioning, etc etc,but you gotta admire him,at his age.

i can understand his hand positioning at that height and his age pretty cool he is still out cutting and hats off to him for not just sitting in a chair

I rebuilt an 084 for an old fella that cuts all his firewood with only that saw. Only one he has. He bought it new. He loves it. He's 78.

No,he actually is still enthusiastic about chainsaws. The only reason he sold me one of his Lightnings was that it was a bit tired,and he has a better one.
He also loves his axes,and still sometimes uses them for felling,so I'm heading back down his way in a couple of weeks for some instruction.
