Pic's

I'm more into the Bolens lawn tractors.
It's sitting in the weeds , I'm thinking on refurbishing it . Was told by the woman I got it from "it's blown up " . But idk if she knew what she's talking about . It's on my list of "to do" projects , lol

Onan. You're in for an education.

I just googled the Case 222. According to Tractor data it should have
the 12hp Kohler single cylinder. Good looking tractor.

Yep, K301

210 K241 4Speed
220 K241 Hy-Drive
222 K301 Hy-Drive
224 K321 Hy-Drive

Had a 220 and a 446. loved them both but without a holding valve (trans brake) that thing would take off free wheeling down hills. Well built tractor but just too hilly around here to be practical.

No big deal. I'm no expert on anything!

I know the 446 and the 448 both had the onan BF engines. I would like to get a 195. I just like those round headlights.

Very, very nice restoration. The factory 3 point is a nice option. The rear hydra pto runs a tiller like a dream.

I spent 10 years of my life as a kid mowing 7 acres with a 222. 12 horse, hydrostatic drive, two speed rear end. Gravity oil stick (if you flip it over, like going up a really steep hill, the stick comes out and oil flies everywhere, hot oil!!). Pretty tough machine!!!

Yup , K301 . They r not hydrostatic , but a true hydraulic drive . The pump is bolted directly onto the engine block , and the rear end is driven by a small hydraulic motor . Very Freakin cool !

I really liked my 220. Gave it to my uncle 5 years ago and he still uses it eveytime to mow.

What's wrong with an onan? Parts are just pricey but the k series Kohler parts are ridiculously over priced
