Exactly!!
Been trying hard to thin my CAD accumulation. I've cut back on almost all saw purchases. Can go on a road trip and not read every Craigslist along the route. My spreadsheet still shows I have over 60 saws in various condition from "basket case" to on the shelf ready to go.
Now that Groundi and I don't do much tree work I'm trying to get down to my "line up" of maybe 10 saws or so plus a few assorted groups of ones I tend to refurbish.
In the meantime, I have all these other projects that just don't seem to get finished up and sold... I did sell one last week but don't have any advertised at this time. Used to be, in the winter was when I refurbed saws because my schedule was less hectic but nowadays, there is no "slow" time of the year. So I just keep piling them up or climbing over them. I have made progress getting rid of "other" things so overall my situation has improved. I can see my car hoist again.
One of these days...
Don't have any modern large saws available at this time. I've thought about selling one of my two MS660's but haven't decided yet. I do have some big Homelites but those all need fuel work to be runners. What larger saws are you looking to move?
Any modern top handles?
Was down to 12 saws, then someone built one for me, then got 3 440/BB Asian saws to play with (with all the problems I've had with them, have not sold any of them yet, but do have some buyers waiting when I think they are OK to sell), then started resurrecting 3 046/460s from 8 parts saws I had. So I just have not had time to touch the 034 in my shed!
Got a call today, someone has another 460 parts saw for me (I said great, I can always use parts), and he also wants to buy a running 460. Told him I have several in the pipe line, and will have one for him soon.
Also had to fix my trailer (spring broke), do work on my hunting cabin, mow the grass, weed the garden, take the grand kids for a bike ride, … there is always something!
Now, if the Chinese venders on Ebay knew the difference between a 460 tank handle and a 440 tank handle, life would be a little simpler, waiting on the correct parts is a drag!
I got extra 046/460 cranks, but not 044/440.
It’s the piston weight, at least that my concussion My 460bb vibrates a bit at idle, and it feals horable without a bar, the bar helps, it’s all oem the aftermarket bb, it is using a meteor 660 piston with a pop up. I did a 440 hybrid with a 460bb and it vibrated a lot!On the Asian BBs, I am getting a lot of vibration. Not sure if it is due to bad AV buffers, the larger piston, or crappy cranks.
Wish I knew of any of the AM ones are good.

Is it occurring at all power settings? My 2171 vibrates like crazy at idle, but feels really smooth under power and under load. You can see on it all the plastic has wear from the vibration. I got it used, so I'm not sure if it's always been this way. It's a pain in the ars to tune. You can hardly keep a screw driver on the H&L jets due to the vibes. Agree with @Bigmac, the bar does help dampen some of the vibes. It will sit and jump all over the ground if you leave it idling.
If you are traveling the Alaska Highway you will be driving right past my front yard in Haines Jct. Yukon. You can leave any saws with me if you can't go cold turkey. Or you can play with mine. If there is anything i can do for you if you are passing through just PM me and i will give contact info.I've got a real CAD test coming up. In just a few days, I'm going on a looong road trip and I MUST resist the urge to pick up saws along the way. I'm sure Groundi will help in that regard as she's always concerned with how much space saws take up. And admittedly we're using our smallest vehicle for this jaunt. We'll be leaving Georgia and thus far have two destinations on our route. One is Branson, MO and the other is Anchorage, AK.

Thanks for that offer. I may hit you up once our routing gets firmed up. We very likely will be passing through Haines Junction either coming or going.
