Bow Hunting

Halloween morning I left for work and had a buck chasing a couple does around a neighbor's yard.

Good shooting greyhounds. What WMA are you in?
Going out in the morning with a fellow member to do some calling and rattling for him. Figure bucks should be moving after the rain we had today trying to find some fresh doe scent.

Not very windy here today and the rain has just about stopped. Peaks of blue to the West.

We are supposed to have 30-40mph winds tomorrow. Should be fun!

Feels like that wind now! Have heard 4 or 5 trees come down since I have been in the stand. Beautiful day though!

5B Should be great time to be out in the woods as long as it stays reasonably dry. I'm super busy for the the rest of this week and next night, so I'm not sure if I'll be back out before the Orange Army attacks.

5B here too. going out callin and rattlin for a couple different guys over the next week so I will probably see monster bucks.

Sat in the rain all day. Finally saw 1 deer about 10 minutes before time. Looked big in body, but it was getting pretty dark and it was a good 60-70 yards away.

Sky looked like this most of the day.

29, light snow. Windy here in central Wi.
Its my oldest daughters birthday and "breakfast with the parents" at school for my youngest, so I wont be hitting the stand until 8:30 or so.

Have a doe and a fawn to ny left and a small 8 point cruzes past at 25 yards on my right!

Last Tuesday, same thing, night pics, then Wednesday evening.
This week, I'm here if he repeats!

Got a call from another member last evening. He hit a buck and the fog rolled in and he lost the trail. Could I help this morning? No blood,no hair,no arrow. Spent an hour looking. About 100 yards from where he shot it. Nice 6 PT. mountain deer.

Never see or hear any round here. Something did nibble around the entry hole of the arrow but not bad. We found it pretty early and it was stihl warm.

Good deal! We hear them around here but I havent seen any. A buddy that hunts closer to the Pittsburgh airport says he has pictures from three different cams with the same type image. Yote's carrying deer legs.
