Go get it
I talked to him on the phone. They are selling fast. I wouldn’t be able to get there until Friday after work so I bought one through eBay. He told me $40 on the phone, would probably end up paying sales tax, so I figured I would just have it shipped and not miss out.

Yeah, they are asking $800 and can get them down to 700. Just dont really know the 650s. It’s like a 660 with 064 jug?

AEE4406A-253D-4A2B-BD8A-2D677AEAAD19.png Looks similar on paper to 064. But higher max RPM spec.

Pretty much but the exhaust timing is higher (think higher revs with a little less grunt).

It's easy enough to swap on an 066 or 660 top end later though. 7 bones isn't a bad price, but as Dave mentioned - that Vanguard chain is only good for cutting railroad ties or piling.

I might see if they’ll let me pull the muffler and go from there. Figured the power head was worth that being all Oem and close too new. I really like the fact that it’s a wrap saw or else it wouldn’t be worth the price.
That’s a 066/064 wrap right? Not a 660 as it’s more straight in line rather than angled.

I’ve got a 650 here that I had out earlier. They are about like a stock 660. Won’t impress you until you wake them up. Lots of potential though.
But that is a nice 650 in that picture.

I bought a few of them. Hopefully the soft goods are still in decent shape. I’ve had god luck with old stock in the past though.
