Bing VS Walbro

Sometime ago the only place you could get the rebuild kits for the Bing was through a Stihl dealer and pay a kings ransom for them .One night after I got off work at about 2AM I found a place that sold AM kits marketed by Oregon .Cheap too .I ordered 5 or 6 .I'd imagine by now there could be others making them .

Got to love the 064and I should know and I don't care what carb is in them they just flat out run..........

I can't remember those damned numbers so I had to look it up .Evidently it's a Bing mod 48 .E-bay has a zillion rebuild kits .It also had a brand new Stihl branded Bing for a mere 129 bucks .The price goes up when you get them in a snazzy orange box .

I love the BING 49.
I have several of them and run one on my 064.
There are a few variations in jet size and main jet design.
I have one with 0.85 stamped on the main jet.
