I have a friend that is wanting to sell off his homelite collection. There is probably at least 80-90 saws available most of which are complete. From what I know is he has a 1130g, 750, 550, couple 80s? And some Wiz? Saws. He wants to sell them all. Make an offer, he is hoping to get around $4,500. He lives around Omaha Nebraska. Bellevue I believe. I was told he had 600-700 total. 8 or so 084/088/880. John Deere twin cylinders and much much more. I was also told $20k could buy it all. I’ve seen other pictures but no way to verify the list of saws mentioned.

I know him, been to his place plenty of times. He asked me to sell his saws for him. Still confused to who you are taking to. Not who you are talking about.

I’m not arguing that you don’t know him. Never said that. Just that he’s trying to sell 600-700 saws total to a guy locally that’s been in the saw business for over 40 years. They’ve actually done a lot of business over the years. Mr. Pogue who I’m currently building an 084 for now, mentioned that he had a friend in Bellevue that contacted him to let him know he’s getting out of collecting saws and wanted to know if he’d be interested in buying his collection. Simple as that. Sounds like the guy has a lot of hard to find echos and old stihls and homelites.

Yes currently I’m buying all of the Stihls, then the huskys, he is planning on keeping some of the echos and wants to sell all of his homelites. Couple other random ones like jonsered and makita but not many other brands

Met in a local parking lot and then followed him over to his place.

After seeing his basement I’m like WTF does he need another saw?

I have a pretty good idea of what he has or can call him to confirm. What are you looking for? Nothing will be for a “you suck” price but his numbers are pretty fair compared to the market
