I got most of a 394 in an online auction. I’m wondering if the wire on the right side of the case if for heated handles? Still waiting for it to arrive. I may be looking for some missing parts in the future.

You talking about the blue wire? That’s for the onnoff switch, kill wire

And those things can vibrate out of the groove and get chowdered by the flywheel. It's good to use a little silicone to keep them in place.

That looks like fuel line or fuel tank vent line to me.

If it's a heated handle saw, you'll see a gray switch on the right side of the airbox looking at the rear of the saw.
