No bother... just don't see transfers that started out that low to begin with.
Nothing else looks out of whack.

I appreciate the input. I thought the transfers looked huge when I was done. Wheel is still on the saw. Gonna recheck for my own piece of mind.

Or high ports... depends on how you look at it.

What was your blow-down number?

Under 20?... I don't go digging for numbers and didn't check back again in the thread.

They look right, in terms of timing.

The problem with them is how huge they are, you really want them tight for velocity.

Pretty common for the floor to be below the piston crown at BDC, but you really don’t want that. It changes flow for the worse.

The whole thing a bit odd buddy. I drop the jug a lot more than you do, so my transfers move more. I don’t have to raise them that much to get to 118-120. You may have some odd duck of a jug. I am sure your measurements are correct. You checked zero on that wheel with a piston stop?

Number are right. Rechecked everything this morning. I may have kissed the floor of the transfers but definitely not enough to account for the gap between the crown and floor at BDC. I used a cone burr for the upper transfers. It was tight but I was careful. What burr do you use on these?
Not much to do now but run it. I’ve got a brand new wt194 and meteor piston. One of the carb gaskets had a hole in it strangely enough so I need to get a kit for it and I have to work so may be a few days until it’s back together.
