I have been a member there for maybe 15 years but when I try to log in, they want me to change my password for better security. I guess they believe it is a little weak and it may be. They try to help me change my password by sending me a link to do that, However, that link gets sent to the WRONG EMAIL ADDRESS. The email they have is close but spelled incorrectly so I never get the link that they send. I cannot contact anyone at the site because my account is locked due to a weak password. It's just a round and round for me. I've tried everything I can think of, There is a person there that I think would help me he is a mod at the site. His username is pioneerguy600. I wish there was a forum contact phone number or something. I just am grasping at straws here. If anyone would be willing to copy and paste my message and send it to Pioneerguy600 in a private message (PM) I think that would be a help Thanks Jeff

"EDIT"
The situation has been resolved it took some amount of time and a good friend to help me, but I was in touch with an administrator earlier today at Arboristsite and now my account is back up and working. Thank you to everyone who helped me, tried to help me, and gave me advice and many likes along the way. JeffinMaine

Thank you both
I appreciate the help, This, has happened before and if it happens again, I will probably just give up over there, I guess. I wish there was a phone number I could call I bet this could be solved in 5 minutes.

That site has changed a lot. Way too many ads. There's still some good people over there with a lot of knowledge, that's the only reason im still a member. I don't go there much anymore .

I have an account there too, but usually only log in when reading a post that has images that I want to see bigger.

They are playing with a new AI system. It has, at least, been entertaining.

I am hoping that eventually someone from there likely a Mod will answer the guys from here that sent my message over there. I will need to give them the correct email address.
AI, yea I got into an AI mess when trying to contact an Amazon seller who I had bought some pressure cooker parts from. They had the size listed incorrectly and the parts would not fit my cooker. It was like circular logic trying to deal with the AI or at least I figured it was AI. finally, I contacted Amazon directly and got some return info and gave the seller a bad review. It would ask me for the part number, the order number and my email. I would provide all of that click send and get the same information request all over again,...Maddening.

I have an 066, 046, 261 and two 271s, yes they are fun. I also have a few Huskys that are fun too (272, 2100 - being rebuilt). My McCullochs are like working on a classic car, fun it its own right to rebuild and run.

No offence meant carolly, I had a stihl 038 for 40 years, brilliant. I fixed a neighbours bloody mac about 40,000 times for free. I recon I am allowed a bit of bias comment. Surely there are some fine yellow saws... in fact I did use a coule of brilliant P artner saws in the early eighties

No offense taken, to each their own for their own reasons for sure!! :D

Some people here detest Stihl, while others love it. They are chainsaws and who cannot love a chainsaw of a different color!
