Looks like a steep angle on the tooth.
Anyone else had this issue? I'l post a pic later. I can fix it, but it sucks to sharpen a new chain

I have had several 3/8 archer chains and a 25ft roll of .325 .050 that work fine

I got a 68DL .058" 3/8" Archer loop today, curious to see how it'll compare to quality Dolmar/Oregon and cheap TriLink loops.

The TriLink loops that I have need "fixing" new out of the box to cut properly!

It has been pretty good up until now
Better than trilink for sure

I'm too lazy to sharpen a new chain. I never loved stihl chain directly outta the box. I feel like I loose a good bit sharpening up a new one. I run till the performance is not much then I adjust to my liking

Good close up pic of cutter will help answer most questions. Main culprits usually are hook, raker & inner top plate.
Sorry, I will get a pic, definitely tons of hook. I will get a before and after I fix it picture

Agree with Cobey. Never had a problem with this chain. I have half a dozen saws that I can use with it and already have used with it.
