I've wanted to do a 066 build thread for a long time but didn't want to argue with everyone on AS.
I can't wait to start it, this saw I'm gonna do is a old red light 3\4 wrap saw and is pretty.
Gonna take it as far as I can also,it won't be a everyday work saw.

I've never seen one in person. Good looking saws for sure. I hear they get hard to start after gaining some compression.

They're tough to start with normal compression. They get stupid with compression increase. I thought one was locked up with 175 lbs of compression.

drop starting is required with these old codgers.

invest in a elasto start rope and handle from stihl or a snowmobile starter handle otherwise
I've not had any luck with them elastic handles and big compression, there hard to hang on to it think.
I like the small stihl solid handle
