Had a 3/8 sprocket & chain laying around so I threw the new bar on my ported 261,it seemed to handle it well, 18".

I have been using the same setup as since 2012 and have never entertain the idea of anything else other than putting a 25 inch bar and chain on it just to see how it would pull it .
much to my surprise it did quite well
