I've cut a whole lot of wood with Wild Things and their clones. Can't imagine these would be much different. Parts???

To tell you the truth who give a s...... for the parts its just a 100 euros saw , be happy if it work for a year or more , even if have parts maybe the shiping cost more than to buy a new saw

I've got one more month of crazy busy life but then things should ease up a bit and perhaps I'll have a bit of time to put some more usage on this saw. It's just parked in the garage for now. I'll be out of the country for two weeks starting tomorrow then two weeks wrapping up my current job and then... unemployment I guess. I do have some tree work lined up for this fall but the China saw may not be the right tool for most of it.

We had a genuine "Sliner" chainsaw at the PNW gtg and it gathered quite a crowd. It was Mag cased with removable cylinder and ran fine. The only thing it needed was the chain sharpened otherwise it cut well enough out of the box. Someone said later in the day that the chain brake or clutch was starting to have issues, but I didn't witness any. It was likely a better buy than a clamshell Poulan 42cc saw. Though at least Poulan is supposed to keep some jobs in the US.

Think of these as disposable tools. Use them for a job until it blows up then toss it andget another one.

I don't have that much margin in my quotes to allow for disposable saws. I usually allow for a ruined chain if cutting a larger yard tree but other than that I expect everything to survive the job and be available for the next one. I only purchased one of the Sliner saws for analysis purposes.

I understand. But these saws are basically disposable. Like power tools from Harbor Fr****t.

Ha! I don't consider HF power tools to be disposable either, I only buy those for low utilization applications. If it's something I'll use a lot I buy Milwaukee.
ie, I have a Milwaukee 4.5" angle grinder in my shop but a HF one at the hangar because I don't use it but a few times a year there. It's held up about 10 years so far.
