Austin, why not just pick up a 6421 and put a bbk kit on it? That's what I did and it's been holding up great. Less than 400 dollars into it too.

There are a few blue 6421 saws still available new. I'd check with the Dolmar/Makita dealers here on the site first. I prefer to deal with guys here whenever possible. After that I'd start an internet search. I know of at least 2 new blue 6421s. I usually keep my eyes peeled at the beginning of every month. That's when Home Depot lists their used rentals. I picked up 2 last week. They're usually in pretty good shape; if you don't mind used.

Bad part is, I didn't even need one, let alone two, but I have a problem, but I'm also not sorry, I'll probably go through them and clean them up and make a bunch of cuts to make sure they are OK then I'll probably sell one

makita over here don't offer HD filter or full wrap , custom usa felling spikes and heated handles is never offered and when you can order them it's like paying for the crown jewels ha ha

I always borrow the extras from the Red one to make the makita a true dolkita

Not the cheapest price around but my problem is always euro to pound then pound to dollar so conversions gain every time

Your cheapest and best option would be a 7900 already fitted from @166 or @fordf150
