I know, another oil thread. I hope this one doesn't get too much excitiment. Just a quick question, has anyone used Brad-Penn 2 cycle oil? It is rated as both a marine and air cooled oil. I use Brad-Penn in all my four cycle engines and would like to try it in chainsaws but I never used a dual purpose oil before. Thanks and sorry for the oil thread.

From what I've heard, it's top of the line oil.
Just never heard of the 2 cycle stuff

I know it's used in lots of the race engines.

The Schaeffer's that I use and Tree Monkey used and sells is a dual purpose oil, I've never had any problems and he's used it for years without any troubles

Good to hear, I will be by the oil place in a couple weeks and give it a try. I have been realm pleased in it in my other stuff. I am on my fourth 55 gallon drum on transmission oil and fifth of 15w-40.

We started running Schaeffer's in our pulling tractor and had great results so I put it in my truck too, worked good there to so figured why not for my saws

Didn't know they made Brad Penn 2 stroke oil. My buddy runs 20w-50 in his 632 Hemi. At $15 a quart it seems pricy but all of my car buddies swear by it.

I'd be curious to hear more about it.

We're your guys using the 7000 series or 9000 series 2 stroke oil. I have been wanting to try it. I started using their diesel oil recently and like it.

The Schaeffer's that I use and Tree Monkey used and sells is a dual purpose oil, I've never had any problems and he's used it for years without any troubles

I've only used the 9000 but Tree Monkey has used both
