Selling an older Altec 12" drum chipper. (chuck and duck style). This chipper operates but is old. It has a 4 cylinder Ford engine and runs on gasoline. I'm not sure why they call these "whisper chippers" as they're loud as all get out. The chute is fixed and only discharges forward. This will be sold in person only. I have brush here you can chip to test the unit. I've had it for about 12 years and use it only occasionally. We're in the process of retiring from tree work and I'm starting to sell off some stuff. The unit is currently equipped with a 2" ball coupler but I can put the original pintle ring back on it if desired. The price is firm at $3000.00 and I will only accept cash. I don't know the age or any specifics on this unit. It is what it is.
