Any recommendations for a good air hammer? Something under a $100.

I'm looking at Ingersoll Rand 114GQC. I know I need long stroke and the quick bit change. Anything else to consider?

I have an old snap on one, but I think IR made them back then. I'd just get an IR long stroke. Get something that has the built in air adjustment!

Took a long time for them to finally ship the air hammer. Now I gots a problem. Two boxes showed up, with an Air Hammer in each box.

I'll keep one all wrapped and ready for pickup when realize their mistake. In the past when I tried to get this all straightened out it gets really fouled up requiring a lot of phone time. I'll wait and let them reach out to me.

I used the air hammer for the first time today. Used it to help break down some pallet crates for kindling. Perhaps not the best application, and it did help some, but not as much as I had hoped. Did a nice job in separating the planks and cut thru some of the nails and staples well enough, but not all. Had to go back to old ways on a lot of it with a pry bar and hammer.

For the last 5 days I've had to utilize the new Dewalt Air Compressor. It is a great purchase. Lots of air, quiet running and with some old hose was able to run plenty of hose out to the yard to help clean the interior of the Toyota.

I have the long stroke Mac air hammer which I think was made by IR. It works really well, an air hammer is one tool that you don't want to go cheap on.
