I might add a long time ago ,early 60's the AH 47 and Clinton 4 cubers in two cycle go-karts were termed an entry level engine because they were inexpensive .Some companies made cylinder heads with a slug that went into the block with banjo bolts to hold them on .That slug used a piston ring to hold the pressure .Those brands of engines ran in a class made just for them because they were the slowest .At that time McCulloch was the fastest only kept from winning everything by some West Bend and Power Products engines .I've got a West Bend 580 in my shed .
