8 vs 21 spline carb tool

Was wondering what the difference is other then number of splines. I ordered both and the both work fine on the poulan carb adjust screws.

I don't know but they both work on Huskies.

You'll run into the screw randomly that the 21 won't fit.... the 8 will then. Kinda like 6 point wrench vs 12 point only not the same

I too thought it was 7

It is 7, Thats why 21 fits.
