So after a couple years of firewood I am kicking myself in the butt for not redoing the bearings at the same time as the crank. Last month I was helping out fell and buck some big madrone and the saw went lean at idle but I finished out the tank assuming a clogged jet. (Saw was not running too...

Thanks davidwyby! As stated in the title of the post, I would love a gently used oem p+c for my 681. I can shim a 7900 to work as well. I am rebuilding with an aftermarket but I know they dont last as long or put out the same amount of power (potentially although my last aftermarket seemed to do pretty well before one of my bearings started slopping out)

that sale price is tempting, I know there is still some oem available but my pockets arent that deep at the moment. I just ordered an aftermarket p/c but in the meantime would be interested in a good jug if someone had one for a used price. If I could get that sale price every labor day I will time it out if the new setup starts to poop out on me in the future. Thanks for looking out!

Everyone owning & liking a 79xx should look into getting a OEM P&C in his/her spare parts stock.

Production is suspended, parts supply will dry up and seize!
